Orzo Kitchen & Wine Bar is the newest addition to a successful culinary Mecca
that for 5 years has resounded with good taste. Now, food enthusiasts will not only marvel
at the offerings of the Market’s resident baker, chocolatier, organic butcher, fishmonger, and artisan grocer,
but they will experience how all these passions coalesce in a memorable dining experience.
In keeping with the European inspiration for the Market,
Orzo Kitchen & Wine Bar offers a menu and wine list that fuses the culinary and
viticultural traditions of Italy, Greece, Spain, and the South of France…
Orzo Kitchen remembers simple family recipes while offering
inventive contemporary interpretations, integrating the diverse Mediterranean cuisines
like a beautiful mosaic of an unbroken coastline.
Orzo Wine Bar remembers the simple joys of great table wines,
while exploring the broad contemporary landscape of outstanding winemakers.
Bringing together these experiences, Orzo Kitchen & Wine Bar celebrates
the exciting synergy of food and wine and the sparkling flavors of the Mediterranean.
The design of the restaurant is urban and industrial with high ceilings, iron girders,
exposed ductwork and an open kitchen. However, this cool modernity is warmed by
a Tuscan palette of earth tones, glowing pendant lights, terra cotta pots filled with
fragrant herbs, Spanish flamenco music, French jazz, and Mediterranean landscape paintings
and collages created by local artist and co-owner, Laura Wooten.
